The Torrens Valley
This is the main catchment area for Adelaide City and so development has been slow to change the way of life here. Towns surrounding us here have retained their character and many family-owned businesses thrive.
Within a few kilometres of the farm are Hills attractions known across Australia. The National Motor Museum is the closest at Birdwood.
The Oakbank Racecourse is a short drive away and is also well-known.
Melba's Chocolate Factory at Woodside is one of the best Hills Attractions.
Close by for Kids is The Big Rocking Horse.
And my favourite: Kersbrook Hill Winery, it's only minutes away and they make a unique sparkling cabernet for around $20! Take the dramatic drive over Checker Hill Rd.
