The Forest and Farm
In 2001 Barrenjoey was planted out with 20 acres of Eucalyptus forest made up of three common species: Sydney Blue Gum, Tassie Blue and Spotted Gum.
Ten years on this plantation continues to thrive with many trees reaching over 15 metres. Continued thinning is required to give the remaining trees the light and water they require.
Whilst this forest may provide for future timber needs it is most valuable in its current state, that of a pleasant forest and garden!
